The Media Research Institute (MRI), a division of the International Center for Media Studies, undertook a survey on behalf of 3XM and PEMA/ACT in Ivory Coast and Togo in March and April 2009. This report concerns only the work undertaken in Togo.
The research occurred throughout the country of Togo. About one-quarter of the interviews were completed in the capital city of Lome and the remainder occurred in smaller towns, cities, and villages. Two teams of interviewers, one accompanied by Field Supervisor Tim Dam and the other by Field Supervisor Peter Fortner, travelled north from Lome, stopping randomly and conducting interviews. The interviews took approximately ten days to complete.
